Change Log 11/07/2017 - Update 11.2

Garry's Mod - Core

  • Admin custom names are now limited to 32 characters
  • Fixed user avatars on the map loading screen.
  • Winning map screen now shows users who voted for that map
  • Added an infobar on the Item Drops panel to show how many weekly cases that user has received and the date and time it resets
  • Introducing Money Briefcases! Money Briefcases are rare drops given after weekly case limit and depending on the case, will give you a certain amount of money. No key is required to open.
    • Money Briefcase | Standard
    • Money Briefcase | Rare
    • Money Briefcase | Mythical
    • Money Briefcase | Legendary
    • Money Briefcase | Ancient
    • Money Briefcases drop after you have exhausted your weekly case limits.
  • Added the Music Kit winners and runner-ups
  • Fixed an issue with trading where traded items would still be equipped for the recipient
  • StatTrak kills now reset upon being traded.
  • Trading session now cancels when a party disconnects.
  • Added Currency commas to Buy, Sell, StatTrak Module purchase.
  • Renamed the sell button in the store to "Quick Sell"
  • Added a "View on Item Wiki" button to each item.
  • Added a "Buy Required Key" button on cases for easy purchase of keys.
  • Sell Confirmation window now shows how much money you will receive and makes a suggestion to try selling on the community market.
  • Moved the round ending panel down from 80 to 120 pixels so it does not over-lap other HUD elements in most gamemodes.
  • Updated the Store Home slider. Height has been changed to 250px and the slider is now managed centrally from the ACP and will be updated regularly.

Garry's Mod - Surf Deathmatch

  • Ported Stronghold 3 weapon stats to SurfDM. Weapons should be easier to use and control. This may be a big change, however we are looking for a lot of feedback on this.
  • Added HE Grenade
  • Added Smoke Grenade
  • Added Flashbang
  • Fixed an issue with ammo not being assigned to CT's during the first round.
  • Added Currency comma to the HUD
  • Fixed Killfeed. It will now always be positioned in the correct place.
  • Fixed an issue where a player getting killed post-round end would not respawn in the next round.
  • Removed Player View Hulls

Garry's Mod - Timer (Surf/Bhop)

  • Selecting styles now has a cooldown to prevent unwanted behavior
  • Gloves now change when doing  !r or "kill" in console.

Garry's Mod - Gungame

  • Ported Stronghold 3 weapon stats to Gungame. Weapons should be easier to use and control. This may be a big change, however we are looking for a lot of feedback on this.
  • Added Healthpacks. Players will now drop Healthpacks upon death and the packs give +25 health.
  • Ported SurfDM Killfeed to Gungame

Change Logs for 11.2.1

Garry's Mod - Core

  • Re-written the map cooldown system. Maps are now cooled down for a period of 4 hours and should no longer appear in the nominate/map voting until the cooldown expires
  • When unboxing a StatTrak item, the attribute for StatTrak is now instantly written to the back-end so it shows as StatTrak on the community market.
  • Added new DrawWeaponKeyPrompt which shows "Press [Binded Key] to pickup [Weapon Name]". 

Garry's Mod - Gungame

  • Weapon Changes
    • AK47
    • Glock
    • M4A1-S
    • MAG-7
    • Negev
    • Nova
    • Sawed-Off
    • XM1014
    • Desert Eagle
  • Health Kits no longer have collisions
  • Health Kits now require the player to press the USE key to pick up.
  • Health Kits now "expire"/remove after 30 seconds of non-use
  • Players can no longer press E to pickup physics props.
  • Walk/Sprint Speeds have been changed
    • Standard Walk is now sprint with 250 units speed
    • Standard Sprint is now walk with 130 units speed
    • All weapons can affect player speed and all weapons mirror the speeds exactly the same as CS:GO
  • Changed the Jump power to Sqrt = 2 * Gravity (800) * 57.0
  • Changed the player HUD to show money with currency comma and changed $OW to $WZ
  • Top Players HUD now shows up to 10 players rather than just 5.

Garry's Mod - SurfDM

  • Reverted the Nova back to it's post-nerf state from a month ago
  • Weapon Pickup prompt HUD now uses the new DrawWeaponKeyPrompt function.

Hopefully, Gun Game will become much more fun to play now; it more closely mimics CS:GO in terms of movement speeds and now that we've extensively tested some weapons based on feedback (and more) it should be just a little bit easier and more fun to play. We've adjusted the damage of shotguns, readjusted the Negev, and generally tried to switch up how you spring in this game mode, the main problem being the duration of certain animations when switching from sprinting to walking and trying to shoot as quickly as possible.

Obviously, the megathread is still open if you guys have any more feedback for us to look into.
